About Sooner Skyfire Showdown

Sooner SkyFire Showdown was created in collaboration between the Oklahoma Pyrotechnics Club and Red Beards Towing to bring the pyrotechnic community to Oklahoma. These types of events are a great way for everyone to see the skill of pyrotechnicians. Oklahoma has never hosted any events like this so we are excited to be holding the first one here in Muskogee. Other established events like this in other states bring thousands of people together. There will be 4 teams that battle it out to win a trophy and be named the Sooner SkyFire Showdown champion. These are not your average fireworks shows. The shows you will see are tightly scripted pyromusicals. This means that the fireworks are precisely timed to certain audio tracks to make a beautiful display. These teams come from all over the country to compete and they all bring their top performance. We will also have a display for the National Anthem, some Incredible exhibition display shells and some exhibition fuel mines. The public will be able to win a chance to safely "push the button" on a remote firing system to ignite a fuel mine.
